Home Care Assistance caregivers are highly experienced and rigorously screened. Before we even consider a caregiver for employment, they must prove prior in-home senior care experience. In addition, to ensure the safety of your loved one, we run background checks through the Department of Justice on all our potential employees, including local and national criminal records, DMV checks and eligibility of employment verification.  We even administer a psychological examination, developed by Ph.D. psychologists, to test each caregiver for honesty and conscientiousness. All of our caregivers are bonded and insured and they are employees of Home Care Assistance, not independent contractors. Our Staffing Director is the "matchmaker" of Home Care Assistance.
